Ronald Lee Miller

Ronald Lee Miller, 83, passed away at Claremont Nursing in Carlisle, on April 22, 2024, with his loving children by his side. Born on May 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Maurice and Salome (Sultzbaugh) Miller.

 

Ron, a graduate of New Cumberland High School (58’), was an exceptional athlete. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was a retired Diesel Mechanic from PENNDOT.


Ron was a long-time member of New Cumberland First Church of God.  He took pride in being a family man and helping others. His joy and happiness came from his devotion as a grandfather, as he was a constant presence in every aspect of his grandchildrens' lives.

 

Ron is reunited with his heavenly family, including his loving companion, Janet, his parents, sisters; Winnie Engle, Sondra Fowler, Peggy Mercurio and his brother, Paul Miller.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Tracey L. Mundis (George) and son Ronald Lee Miller, Jr. (Millie); grandchildren, Andrea (Jed), Ashlynn (Carlos), Deric, Nicholas, Josie and Jonah, and a great-grandson, Tiago, and his brother, Bob Miller (Theresa).

 

Visitation will be at 10am, with memorial services beginning at 11am, on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services in New Cumberland. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
