Scott Livingston Schaufert

Scott Livingston Schaufert, born March 29, 1961, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He is now reunited with his beloved parents, Harry Schaufert and Jeanne Livingston Schaufert, and his brother, Eric Schaufert, who preceded him in passing.

Scott shared a loving marriage of 37 years with his wife, Bernadette, building a life rooted in commitment, love, and laughter. Together, they treasured time spent side by side, especially during the summer months when they enjoyed playing Jin Rummy on the side porch.

He was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, Jessica Schaufert and Danielle Quincey, and a cherished father-in-law to Andrew Quincey. Scott found immense joy in his role as “Pop-Pop” to his grandson, Forrest Scott Quincey.

Scott will be remembered for his deep love of family, his generous and kind spirit, and his steady presence. He brought immense joy to those closest to him and leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and devotion that will live on in their hearts.
