Sharon Sprankle Jacoby

Sharon Sprankle Jacoby, 79, of Camp Hill died Monday, October 20, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.

She was a retired Systems Analyst from Highmark. She was a graduate of Gettysburg High School, Penn State University, and received her master’s in business administration from Mount St. Mary’s University. A member of Penn State Alumni Association, Sharon loved sports, especially Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State. She enjoyed traveling throughout the world over her fulfilling lifetime.

She was born October 17, 1946 in Gettysburg to the late Allen and Lillian Sprankle. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Paul Mattus.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sue Mattus of Camp Hill; grandchildren, Austin James Mattus (Paige) of Camp Hill, Colton John Mattus (Karly) of New Cumberland, Dalton Joseph Mattus (Jazmine) of New Cumberland, and Tristan Jared Mattus (Zoe Ritter) of Camp Hill; and her great-grandchild Karson Paul Mattus.

Sharon will be remembered for being a wise, sophisticated, and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and most of all her daughter’s best friend. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

A private celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
