Before her many years of volunteer work Shirley’s career included secretarial positions at Olmstead Airforce base, Harrisburg Daries, and PIAA Insurance Co. Her most important position in life was always the love of our Lord, her husband, her children and extended family and her beloved dogs. She enjoyed attending church functions, Gospel concerts, roller skating, knitting, and creating with ceramics and flowers. She was always up for a car ride to anywhere, at any time dressed to the nines in her high heels.

Shirley attended the groundbreaking and dedication of and was a lifetime member of Christian Life Assembly where she belonged to various women’s groups and joyfully volunteered for many years. She so cherished the loving Christian atmosphere and people. Shirley is most known for her kindness and unwavering faith.
