Shirley Y. Rouzer, 83, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township. She was the daughter of the late Karl H. and Olive V. (Arnold) Fry, born on July 13, 1940 in New Bloomfield.
Shirley was a graduate of New Bloomfield High School, Perry County, and would spend her entire career in the banking field. She began with CCNB until they were acquired by PNC Bank; continuing with PNC, she would retire in the early 2000s as an Assistant Vice President and manager of the New Cumberland location.
She was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, and she was active in both the Kiwanis Club of Greater West Shore and New Cumberland Women’s Club. Family was always the most important thing in Shirley’s life.
Surviving Shirley is her son, Matthew J. Rouzer (Lindsay) of Camp Hill; a grandson, Connor; brother and sister, Lynn Fry (Mary Jane) of Harrisburg and Jean Haines (Don) of Duncannon; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. “Jim” Rouzer; and five siblings, Donald H. Fry, K. Wayne Fry, Fay L. Bolig, Beverly M. Fry, and Ralph Fry.
A memorial service will take place at 11AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with family will be held from 10AM until services begin in the funeral home. Committal in Rolling Green Cemetery will immediately follow.
