Sonia Faye Lynam

Sonia Faye Meads Lynam, 89, transitioned from here into eternal life on July 24, 2026. She was born on April 4, 1937.

Sonia spent much of her life in Sarasota, Florida. She worked as an administrative assistant in the fashion industry in New York, where she was known for her professionalism and dedication.

She was first married to Joseph Altland, with whom she had two children, Stephanie J. Franklin and Blake J. Altland. She then married Rayburn Shetler and, following his passing, married William T. Lynam.

Sonia will be remembered for her love of family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.

A celebration of life will be held at Paddletown Cemetery, 250-252 Church Road, Etters PA, 17319 on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1pm.
