Steven L. Ort

Steven L. Ort, 64, of Fairview Twp., Lewisberry, died Thursday, March 23, 2023, at his home.

He was a mechanic at R. J. Davis & Company, York Haven. Born on April 5, 1958, in Harrisburg, he was the son of Iris J. (Weiymer) Ort of York Haven, and the late Clayton B. Ort.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Leticia A. “Tish” Ort (fiancé, Timothy Pinti) of Columbia, and Brandi L. Ort of Lewisberry; a son, Jason A. Shoemaker of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Katylen, Zachary and Liam; a brother, Clayton B. Ort, Jr. of Etters; a sister, Karen E. Goodling of New Cumberland; nieces and nephews..

A visitation will be held at Paddletown St. Paul United Methodist Church, 355 Church Road, Etters, on Thursday, April 13, from 10 – 11 AM with a memorial service to follow immediately at 11 AM with Pastor Ryan Whisel officiating.
