Sue Anne Prowell

Sue Anne Prowell, 71, of Etters, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.

Sue loved flowers, angels and helping those in need. She had a contagious smile that would brighten anyone’s day. Her love for the Lord and her family were the most important part of her life. Born in Columbus, OH, on May 26, 1952, she was the daughter of Byron K. and Joeanne (Scott) Ensley. She was the widow of Michael W. Prowell and was also preceded in death by brothers and a sister, Michael E. Ensley, Robert K. Ensley, Richard M. Ensley and Vicky Jo Ensley.

Surviving are a son and a daughter, Eric W. Prowell of Mechanicsburg, and Danielle M. Greth and husband, Jason A. of Etters; sisters and a brother, Kay Bly, Joseph Ensley, Bonnie Chandler, Kathy Hall, and Mary Weekly; four grandchildren, Sebastian, Liam, Logan and Ryelend; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday July 31, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with Pastors Dale E. and Joel A. Barrick officiating. The Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.

The viewing will be held from 1 PM to 2 PM Monday July 31, 2023 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Central PA Food Bank, 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
