Camp Hill

Tammy Sue (Boggs) Blauvelt, 67, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 12, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a legacy of love, faith, kindness, and strength that will live on for generations.

Tammy was born on February 12, 1959, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the late Gene Boggs and Donna (Crabtree) Boggs. She grew up in Oak Hill, Ohio, before eventually making her home in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Throughout her life, Tammy exemplified the values of family, compassion, and unconditional love.

Tammy dedicated her professional career to serving as a Child Care Specialist at the Naval Depot, where she worked until her retirement. Her caring nature and love for others were evident in the way she lived her life. While she took pride in her career, her greatest joy and most cherished roles were those of devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Meme to her granddaughters.

Tammy was a woman with a heart unlike any other. She possessed a rare and genuine kindness that could be felt by anyone who crossed her path, whether they had known her for years or had only shared a brief encounter with her. Her warmth made people feel welcome, her compassion made them feel loved, and her honest, straightforward nature meant you always knew where you stood with her. She was easy to talk to, genuine in her words, and never afraid to speak the truth when it mattered most.

Above all else, Tammy’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Jim Blauvelt, and a loving mother to her daughters, Brittany Fishel (Jason) and Bre Beasley (Chris). Her greatest treasures were her granddaughters, Ivy Fishel and Brynn Beasley, who knew her lovingly as Meme. She is also survived by her sister, Darlene Caulley (Greg), along with other family members and loved ones whose lives she touched. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Kay Boggs.

Family and friends will gather at Parthemore Funeral Home to honor Tammy's remarkable life on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tammy’s memory to The American Cancer Society.

Tammy’s spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
