Timothy Ross Gaul, 71, of Mechanicsburg died Saturday, October 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.
He was a retired letter carrier from the United State Postal Service, and still actively involved with the postal union. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and the Mechanicsburg Club. Tim was a 1973 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School where he shined as a pitcher. He was an avid golfer and Yankees fan. He enjoyed visiting with his Cedar Cliff friends Friday nights at the Brewhouse Grille in Camp Hill. The last few winters, he enjoyed being a snowbird in Fort Pierce, FL golfing and making new friends.
Timmy was the kindest, most gentle soul, not just to those who loved him and there are many, but to anyone he met. He was a young spirit with an old school heart who remained steadfast in his belief our parents taught us that God is real and He is with us! He was the best husband, father, grandfather, uncle, younger brother, older brother, friend and human being he could be…always! One life touches many and there is always a choice along the way! Timmy chose to love and be loved by all who knew him! Today there is a hole in the world, but we will remember and use what he taught us to carry on!
He was born July 26, 1955, in Harrisburg to the late Charles and June A. (Sheehey) Gaul. He was also preceded in death by his brother Robert.
He is survived by his wife, Lois M. (Warmkessel) Gaul; daughters, Stephanie M. Gaul of Mechanicsburg, Nicole C. Gaul (Caleb Boyer) of Camp Hill, and Kathryn M. Gaul of Mechanicsburg; brother, Thomas Gaul (Georgine) of Lewisberry; sister, Victoria Bosso (Nick) of Camp Hill; sister-in-law, Margie Gaul of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kaylee and Timothy; several nieces and nephews; and his unofficial daughter, Diane Cardile of (Mechanicsburg).
Visitation will be from 5pm until the memorial service at 6:30pm Tuesday, October 13th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Muscular Dystrophy Association, https://www.mda.org/ or Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, https://cmtausa.org/
