Traci Lynn Menapace

June 26, 1967 — August 24, 2025

New Cumberland, PA

Traci Lynn Menapace, 58, of New Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, with family by her side, on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

She was born on June 26, 1967, in Gaithersburg, MD, to Karen (Hasenei) Vance and the late Richard Quigg. A proud graduate of Gaithersburg High School, Class of 1985, Traci carried with her a lifelong devotion to family, faith, and community.

On February 27, 1987, she married the love of her life, Martin “Marty” Menapace. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Traci’s home was always open—an ever-revolving door for her children’s friends, who found in her a second mother. She lovingly cared for her late mother-in-law, a testament to her selflessness and unwavering compassion.

Traci will be remembered for her sweet spirit, supportive nature, and deep generosity. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a practical outlook on life, and a creative heart. She encouraged and lifted up those around her, living each day with gratitude and grace.

Her greatest joy was her family, though she also cherished the simple pleasures—days at the beach, watching sunrises, listening to Bryan Adams, playing Spades and Canasta, and expressing her love through the phrase “Infinity times Infinity.” She was a strong advocate for mental health awareness, extending kindness and acceptance to all she met.

A woman of faith, Traci was a Christian who found comfort and guidance in her favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Traci is survived by her husband of 38 years, Marty; her children, Philip and his wife Tillie, along with their daughter Mila; Justin and his wife Erin, along with their children Elvi, Elijah, and Jonah; and Alexa Kramer and her husband Blake, along with their children Liam and Cleo. She is also survived by her mother, Karen Vance and her husband Nick, as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Quigg, and her brother, Jeffery Quigg.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 5–8 PM at Hampden Fire Station #3, 1200 Good Hope Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Traci’s memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) at www.nami.org.

food on your table, and a roof over your head,
you are richer than you think.”
