Vance D. Rudy

Vance D. Rudy, 85, of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was a retired HVAC Technician from Highmark Healthcare Company and was a volunteer at Mission Central. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Mead and being a snowbird with his wife travelling every winter to Port Richey, FL. He was an avid fan of the Eagles, Steelers, and Penn State Football and enjoyed bus trips with Wolfs Bus tours, especially to the casinos.

He was born July 19, 1940 in Fairview Twp. to the late Vance Criswell Rudy and Beulah M. (Anderson) Rudy.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Betty J. (Moreschi) Rudy; daughters, Sherry Goehring (Joe) of Mechanicsburg and Sandra McDonald of Mechanicsburg; and four grandchildren, Tyler and Jamie McDonald, Dorie Goehring, and Molly Burke.

Private interment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
