Vernon J. Shaffer, Ii

Vernon J. Shaffer, II, 71 of Lewisberry died Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.

An Army Veteran of the Vietnam era he retired from Zeplin’s Security, Camp Hill as Central Station Manager and previously was a Police Officer in the borough of Lemoyne. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trap shooting.

Vernon was born September 15, 1950 in Mechanicsburg to the late Vernon J. and Mary (DiMascio) Shaffer.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda S. (McNair) Shaffer; son, Jesse Andrew Shaffer (Kristen) of Pittsburgh; and brother, Scott A. Shaffer (Cristy) of Harrisburg.

Visitation will be from 5pm until the memorial service at 6:30pm Wednesday, September 7th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
