Walter Morris Peterson

Walter Morris Peterson, 92, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on August 12, 2026. Born in Lawrence, MA, on January 14, 1934, to the late Herman and Florence Peterson. Walter brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. Walter dedicated his life to hard work as a self-employed laborer, earning the respect and admiration of his peers. His unwavering spirit and determination were matched only by his love for family and friends. 

He is survived by his beloved Wife of 72 years, Almeda Peterson; Daughter Sherrie Wilson (Bill), Son Brad Peterson (Michelle)and Grandchildren Sam Wilson, Corie Peterson, Jack Willson, Brady Peterson; Great Grandchildren Zayden, Ryan and Sophia Peterson Also Two Step Grandchildren Sierra and Andrew VanSickler. His family cherished their time together and will carry his memory forward. When he was not out fishing or golfing, he was in his mancave watching all of his Philly teams. 

A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026, with a funeral service following at 12:00 PM. Entombment will take place at Rolling Green Memorial Park in the mausoleum at the conclusion of services. 

Walter will be remembered for his kindness, resilience, and the love he shared with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and countless fond memories that will be celebrated by all who had the honor of knowing him. As we say our goodbyes, we invite you to join us in honoring his remarkable life and the many ways he touched our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations in the form of a check can be directed to Parthemore Funeral Home, which will be sent to an organization that Walter privately held very closely to his heart.
