Camp Hill

William Charles Fryer, 73, also known as Bill, of Camp hill, PA passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at home with loved ones. Born on May 21, 1952, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, to the late Phillip Frank and Evelyn (Herman) Fryer. Bill lived a life filled with love, and a deep appreciation for his family.

Bill was known for his hard work ethic in life, especially his career as a dismantler in the auto recycling industry at New Cumberland Auto Parts. He was not one to sit around, whether he was doing yard work, fishing, or simply doing maintenance on cars. He also enjoyed watching baseball with Janice and rooting for the Washington Nationals.

He truly loved his family. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Harbst) Fryer, and his two devoted sons, Christopher S. Fryer and Jason W. Fryer. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Brittney, Jason Jr., Christopher Jr., Avery, and Abigail, bringing love and laughter into their lives. Bill celebrated being a great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren, Rylie, Charles, and Reven.

He also enjoyed western movies while enjoying the company of his beloved fur-friends, Jax the Husky and Trooper the Main Coon. Spending time with his grandchildren and pets always created memories that will live on in our hearts.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the near future, honoring the impact he had on everyone around him. Family and friends will gather to share cherished stories, laughter, and love as they pay tribute to the remarkable man he was. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in New Cumberland at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association, honoring Bill's memory by supporting a cause close to his heart.
