William Frank Stump, 74, of Harrisburg, PA passed away on August 23, 2025. Born on September 12, 1950, in Chagrin Falls, OH, Bill grew up in Camp Hill, PA, and later went on to graduate from Largo High School in Clearwater, FL after moving in with his grandfather, Frank A. Stump.
Bill was known for his warm smile and love for music. As a talented musician, he played with the band Billy Synth & The Turnups, making memories and entertaining crowds at venues like the Metron in Harrisburg and Rumpelstiltskin's. Music was his passion, and he spread joy to many through his performances. Throughout his life, Bill worked as a cashier in the retail industry, most recently at Dollar Tree in Summerdale, where his positive energy brightened the day for countless customers.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by his family, including his dear brothers, Robert (Sue) Stump and David (Susan) Stump; 2 nieces, Dani (Adam) Elliott and Hannah (Bill) Bryson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Erney and father, Frank Stump. In keeping with William's wishes, services will be private.
